An international symposium on the prediction and perception of action

Organized by Mark Wexler and Julie Grèzes (Collège de France) with the participation of
Richard Frackowiak (University of Paris VI and University College London), and sponsored by the Réseau des sciences
cognitives d'Ile-de-France (RESCIF) and University College London.
The symposium will be organized around two main themes: the effect of the observer’s motor action on visual perception and cognition; and the role of motor representations in the perception of others’ actions. A common topic uniting these two themes will be problem of sensorimotor prediction.
